Radon Bee Gone – 2-Year Limited Warranty, Maintenance & Liability Policy

At Radon Bee Gone, we stand behind every installation with a 2-year workmanship warranty and clear homeowner maintenance expectations.

Our goal is to ensure each system continues to operate safely and effectively, while protecting both your home and our company through transparent, fair, and professional standards.

Effective automatically upon commencement of any radon-related service by Radon Bee Gone (“Contractor”).

By hiring or permitting Radon Bee Gone to perform work, the property owner (“Client”) acknowledges and accepts the following terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

Radon Bee Gone provides a two-year limited warranty on workmanship and materials directly installed by our technicians.
If a system component installed by us fails due to workmanship or material defect within 24 months of installation, Radon Bee Gone will repair or replace the affected component at no charge for labor or materials.

2. No Guarantee of Specific Radon Levels

Radon mitigation systems are designed to reduce indoor radon concentrations.
However, no specific radon level is guaranteed, as results depend on each building’s design, soil conditions, and environmental factors beyond our control.
Post-installation testing every 2-5 years thereafter is strongly recommended.

3. Homeowner Maintenance Responsibilities

To maintain system performance and warranty coverage, the homeowner agrees to:

  • Inspect the system manometer at least monthly to confirm normal operation.

  • Maintain continuous electrical power to the radon fan.

  • Notify Radon Bee Gone immediately of abnormal fan noise, vibration, or manometer readings.

  • Avoid tampering with any system component, piping, or caulking seal.

  • Schedule periodic radon retesting in accordance with Health Canada recommendations.

Failure to meet these conditions may void the warranty.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or malfunction caused by tampering, modification, or disconnection.

  • Damage from flooding, storms, structural movement, or electrical surges.

  • Blocked, frozen, or obstructed vent terminations.

  • Cosmetic damage, noise variations, or performance changes caused by soil or seasonal conditions.

  • Any system that has been relocated, altered, or repaired by anyone other than Radon Bee Gone.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Radon Bee Gone is not liable for illness, injury, or health effects allegedly caused by radon gas exposure.

  • The Contractor’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement cost of defective materials or workmanship it supplied.

  • Radon Bee Gone is not responsible for consequential damages, property loss, or pre-existing defects such as foundation cracks, plumbing leaks, or electrical issues.

  • The effectiveness of radon reduction depends on factors outside our control, including soil permeability, building tightness, and weather conditions.

6. Safety & Site Conditions

Work may be postponed or cancelled if unsafe or hazardous site conditions are present (such as mold, asbestos, or structural instability).
The homeowner is responsible for correcting such conditions before work resumes.

7. Transferability

This warranty may be transferred once within the two-year period if Radon Bee Gone is notified in writing within 30 days of property ownership transfer.

8. Automatic Acceptance

This policy applies automatically to every radon mitigation, testing, or related service performed by Radon Bee Gone.
By engaging our services or allowing work to begin, the Client acknowledges full understanding and acceptance of all terms contained herein.
